New energy solutions take centre stage at Eco Expo Asia 2026

15 Sep 2026

Hong Kong, 15 September 2026. Eco Expo Asia 2026 will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo from 26 – 29 October, with a sharp focus on green technologies and spotlighting the latest breakthroughs and product developments in new energy. Exhibitors will present a range of innovative green applications and practical systems across key commercial and industrial sectors. Alongside the product showcases, a series of events and seminars will address market trends, regulatory updates, and technical solutions to foster discussion that inspire industry leaders to adopt sustainable practices in their respective fields.

The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) will lead 11 park companies to showcase cutting-edge green technologies for new energy applications. Among them, first-time exhibitor Greenseed Power Limited will display its customisable Smart Home EV Charging Solutions, encompassing AC and DC chargers tailored for residential developments, commercial properties, and fleet operations.

Broadening the scope to transport fuels, fellow new participant EcoCeres Limited will feature its proprietary Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) as new fuel alternatives to help aviation and land transport operators decarbonise their operations.

Targeting waste management, Infore Enviro Technology Group Co Ltd will showcase its Pure Electric Compactor Garbage Truck, a next-generation new energy sanitation vehicle that integrates low-carbon performance, operational efficiency, and smart management to provide a sustainable waste collection solution for urban sanitation services.

Additionally, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in joint effort with local green technology startup Luquos Energy, will introduce the world’s first sulfur-based flow battery energy storage system. Recently deployed across Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the technology offers an affordable, sustainable alternative to lithium-ion and vanadium flow batteries.

A robust event line-up that encourages thoughtful dialogue
Eco Expo Asia will feature an expanded event schedule designed to promote practical environmental solutions and spark meaningful collaboration. This year, the events are organised under four distinct themes: “Green Energy in Motion”, “Building for a Greener City”, “From Waste to Worth” and “Frontier Green Tech.” Each theme allows attendees to explore specific areas of interest that inspire and encourage deeper discussions among participants.

As the cornerstone of the Expo, the Eco Asia Conference will present topics that closely align with these themes. This year, the conference will feature six sessions and gather an impressive lineup of speakers, including leading experts, policymakers, and innovators from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, ASEAN countries and beyond. They will share their insights on a wide range of environmental topics, including green innovation, green building, green finance, circular economy and more. Through forward-looking dialogues, participants will see how businesses are building resilience and turning environmental commitments into measurable results.

In parallel with the physical events, the “Click2Match” online platform will run from 19 October – 5 November, extending the show’s reach by enabling online business meetings and partnerships, ensuring broader participation and fostering meaningful global connections.

The show is jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and co-organised by the Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
